Energy supplier Vayu is changing its name to Naturgy as part of the global rebranding of its parent, Spanish group Gas Natural Fenosa (GNF).

Vayu supplies gas and electricity to commercial and industrial customers in the Republic and UK. Its clients include Bulmers, Dublin Airport Authority and Irish Rail.

The Dublin-based company is changing its name to Naturgy in line with the global renaming of GNF.

GNF – now Naturgy – is a multinational with operations in more than 30 countries serving upwards of 23 million customers.

Liam Faulkner, chief operating officer of Naturgy, said that while the company would be operating under the same name, customers would receive the same service.

“We are focused on continuing to provide consistency in the way we work with our customers, clarity on all projects we manage and commitment to meet the energy needs of our customers,” he added.
