EY Ireland is continuing to grow its partnership with the announcement of seven new equity partners, as the firm continues to make significant investments in top talent in response to growing and changing client demand.
This group of new equity partners brings the total number of EY equity partners to 154 across Ireland. The new EY Ireland equity partners are Ailbhe MacManus, Colin Reilly, Conor Daly, David Collins, Elaine Stafford, Niall Ó Lideadha and Sean MacHale.
These new appointments will strengthen the EY Ireland partnership, building on its leading expertise in the areas of audit; tax and law; consulting; and corporate finance, while also helping the firm to grow steadily in areas including artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, financial services, managed services, government and infrastructure as well as sustainability, to name but a few.
Today EY Ireland employs more than 5,200 people and has offices in seven locations in Ireland: Dublin, Belfast, Cork, Galway, Limerick, Waterford and Derry.

New EY Ireland equity partners
Ailbhe MacManus
Ailbhe MacManus has been admitted as an equity partner in the EY Ireland assurance practice, working within the wealth and asset management team. MacManus has been with the firm for nearly 20 years, both in Ireland and the Cayman Islands. MacManus’s experience includes working with global wealth and asset management clients to navigate significant and complex matters, with a particular focus on advising clients who are looking to establish fund structures in Europe and is passionate about promoting Ireland’s fund industry. MacManus is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Ireland.
Colin Reilly
Colin Reilly has been admitted as an equity partner in the EY Ireland consulting practice. Reilly has 20 years’ experience in advisory and implementation services in support of large-scale systems applications and products (SAP) transformation programmes. He has acted as both programme manager and lead solution architect for some of the largest SAP programmes delivered by EY in Ireland and the UK over the past decade.
Conor Daly
Conor Daly has been admitted as an equity partner in the EY Ireland consulting practice. Daly is transport sector lead in EY Ireland’s consulting practice, specialising in large scale, complex transformation. He advises clients across government and transport, leading high-performing teams to achieve lasting outcomes for society. Daly spent over a decade in the UK advising C-suite transport leaders on organisational change, infrastructure delivery and programme management.
David Collins
David Collins has been admitted as an equity partner in the EY Ireland consulting practice, with a particular focus on the utilities sector. He has more than 20 years of professional services experience and a proven track record of designing and delivering complex technical change for big clients across multiple sectors. Collins has a BSc in Information Technology from the University of Galway and an MBA from the UCD Smurfit Business School.
Elaine Stafford
Elaine Stafford has been admitted as an equity partner in the EY Ireland assurance practice. Stafford has an in-depth knowledge of capital markets having served clients on various capital market transactions including initial public offerings, debt and equity offerings. Elaine’s experience enables her to offer valuable advice to clients on international financial reporting standards, US generally accepted accounting principles, and internal controls.
Níall Ó Lideadha
Ó Lideadha has been admitted as an equity partner in the EY Ireland tax practice. Ó Lideadha leads EY’s transaction tax practice specialising in tax risk management in an M&A context and driving value for clients through appropriate tax structuring. His experience spans all sectors and includes many of the largest deals in the Irish M&A market over recent years. Ó Lideadha has a depth of M&A experience that can drive real value for his clients in M&A transactions.
Sean MacHale
Sean MacHale has been admitted as equity partner in the EY Ireland financial services assurance practice, specialising in climate change and sustainability services. With a background in investment and institutional banking, he is experienced in helping enable the “how to” of ESG and sustainable finance through an opportunity-and investment-driven lens. MacHale is EY global financial services sustainable finance innovation hub leader.
