League of Ireland champions Dundalk will face either Belarus's BATE Borisov or Finnish side SJK Seinajoki should they progress to the third Champions League qualification round.
The Lilywhites hopes of making it to the next round hang in the balance after their midweek draw with Iceland’s FH Hafnarfjordur.
Stephen Kenny’s side head into Wednesday night’s second leg knowing a 2-2 draw or better will be enough to secure a safe passage through.
And it is likely they will face the Belarusian champions, who have reached the Champions League group stages in four of the last five seasons, after they won the first leg of their tie 2-0.
Dundalk will be away in the first leg should they progress.
Elsewhere if Celtic and Brendan Rodgers can manage to avoid further humiliation and overturn their 1-0 first leg deficit against Gibraltar's Lincoln Red Imps they will play either FC Astana of Khazakhstan or Lithuania's Zalgiris Vilnius.
Celtic suffered a 2-0 humbling at the hands of Astana in 2013 but overturned that result with a 3-0 win at Parkhead in the return leg.
