Centre Liam Turner has been ruled out for Leinster’s upcoming United Rugby Championship (URC) fixture against Connacht due to injury.
Leinster issued an injury update on Tuesday, confirming the 25-year-old will miss out on this Saturday’s round eight fixture at the Aviva Stadium (kick-off 5.30pm) after picking up an ankle injury during the province’s 15-7 Champions Cup victory over Clermont Auvergne on Saturday.
Leinster head coach Leo Cullen added Jordan Larmour and Tom Clarkson are both in doubt for the fixture. Larmour missed out last weekend’s win due to a “minor injury” but will be further assessed this week before a final decision is made regarding selection for the Connacht game.
Clarkson, who picked up an arm injury during the Clermont game, will also undergo further assessment this week before the team selection.
