Men's Hockey Round-up:Last season's top two in the Leinster second division, champions Kilkenny and runners-up UCD, meet this weekend after the most testing opening imaginable to their division one campaigns a week ago when, respectively, they played against the All-Ireland champions Pembroke Wanderers and Leinster champions Glenanne.
Predictably, both sides went down to defeats, but they'll be looking to get off the mark tomorrow in a match that should show which is better equipped for the season ahead.
UCD have been strengthened by the return of Neil Young and Glen Holmes, who were studying abroad, and have been able to keep the bulk of the squad that earned them promotion.
Glenanne and Pembroke will look to make it two wins out of two against teams that lost their opening fixtures, Bray and YMCA.
But the clash of Fingal and Three Rock Rovers, who had fifth and fourth placed finishes last season, looks a less predictable affair. Fingal will, no doubt, look to bury the memory of surrendering a two-goal lead in last week's draw against Corinthians.
