After their surprise defeat to Down in the Ulster Championship semi-final on Saturday, Monaghan will face a trip to Wexford in their All Ireland qualifier tie after the draw was made on Monday.

Meanwhile, Westmeath will have to pick themselves up pretty quickly from a record defeat to Dublin in the Leinster semi-final at Croke Park on Sunday when they welcome Armagh.

After narrowly scraping past London in Ruislip on Sunday, Carlow have been rewarded with a home tie against Leitrim while Cavan – who defeated Offaly on Sunday – will take on Tipperary.

The games will take place in a fortnight’s time (July 8th and 9th) with venues, times and dates confirmed following a meeting of the CCCC on Monday afternoon.
