London 0-14 Waterford 1-10: London picked up their first Allianz League win of the season after a stunning late double from Lorcan Mulvey.

The Exiles led for 59 minutes but looked to be heading for yet another defeat when Waterford fired four unanswered points late on to move in front for the first time.

However, substitute Mulvey saved the day by kicking two quickfire points to seal a deserved victory.

Paul Coggins' side adapted better to the heavy pitch and led by five points by the end of the first quarter, but they were punished on 20 minutes when Liam O'Lionain's burst through the home defence and teed up Robert Aherne, who punched home from close range.

London led by 0-8 to 1-3 at the interval but Waterford came out fighting in the second half, with forward Gary Hurney using his bulk to good effect.

The Deise looked to have snatched victory when Paul Whyte’s double put them ahead with three minutes remaining.

But London and Mulvey would have the final say, the Cavan native booming over two superb scores to leave Waterford's promotion hopes in tatters.
