For all the talk of new dawns in Kerry, Éamonn Fitzmaurice has still been able to name a side with five All Ireland winners in it and four more on the bench.
Of the new players, Stephen O'Brien is potentially the most interesting. He might not be the most stylish footballer but he has a kind of choppy action on the ball that makes him very difficult to tackle. Expect him, Mikey Geaney and Darran O'Sullivan to rotate as they go.
Clare have had their championship in the two games with Waterford and while they might make hay early on here – David Tubridy and Gary Brennan have been around awhile and will enjoy catching some of the younger Kerry lads cold – their future is in the qualifiers.
