Veteran to start despite broken hand, Armagh’s Paul Grimley makes four changes for Wicklow

Monaghan boss Malachy O'Rourke has made two changes to his team ahead of the Ulster semi-final clash wtih Cavan on Saturday, but Dick Clerkin will start.

Clerkin fractured a bone in his hand and has not trained this week, but he will start in the half-forward line nonetheless.

Drew Wylie comes in at full-back in place of Fintan Kelly, while Stephen Gollogly starts at right-half forward, in place of the injured Owen Duffy.

Armagh's James Morgan and Brendan Donaghy have returned from injury to take their places in the side to face Wicklow in the All-Ireland Football Championship qualifiers on Sunday.

In attack, Ethan Rafferty and Eugene McVerry are given the nod, with Decky McKenna, Ciaron O'Hanlon, Stefan Forker and Finnian Moriarty the four to lose out.

Kieran Toner and Charlie Vernon will be on the sidelines because of injury .
