GAA:THE DUBLIN football management reported yesterday that Paul Flynn and Rory O'Carroll are both expected to recover in time for the All-Ireland final against Kerry on September 18th.

Flynn carried a hamstring strain into last Sunday’s dour win over Donegal and he appeared in some distress when pulling up on 67 minutes. O’Carroll sustained bruising above the hip and had to be replaced on 26 minutes.

The Dublin panel met up last night, with the medical staff indicating both injuries should have cleared up in three weeks.

Cavan’s Joe McQuillan will referee the final. The Kill Shamrocks club man has officiated in Munster and Leinster finals and All-Ireland finals at under-21 and club level. David Coldrick from Meath is the substitute referee, with Pat McEnaney of Monaghan running the other line.
