The IRFU meeting yesterday in Dublin, which was convened to discuss the future of the domestic game, broke up without any decision being taken.
Instead it was agreed to hold another discussion on the issue on February 20th.
During the meeting, which lasted a couple of hours, the union committee centred their attention on what they called a "domestic competition model", and not exclusively on the All-Ireland League.
In other words, it was a broad-based discussion on the domestic game. They are hopeful of coming to a decision after the next meeting in three weeks.
