Tralee CBS v St Patrick's, Armagh (Referee: N Cooney, Offaly) Tullamore, 3.30 - St Patrick's certainly upset the MacRory Cup holders St Michael's, Enniskillen in the Ulster final and they'll require an even bigger performance to upset Tralee here - although that's certainly not impossible.
Sean Cavanagh clinched the winning goal over St Michael's just two minutes from time a fortnight ago and there's plenty of further quality in the Armagh school.
Still, Declan Quill proved a most dangerous weapon in Tralee's Munster final win over St Flannan's and Tommy Farrell has also proved well able to score. Bar another surprise then, Tralee should prevail.
St Jarlath's, Tuam v St Patrick's, Navan
(Referee: P O'Toole, Longford) Longford, 3.15 - There's so much momentum in the St Patrick's side this season that it's hard to know where it will stop. Yet St Jarlath's must carry the favourites tag here.
The midfield combination of Michael Webb and Tomas Griffin has dominated all the St Jarlath's outings so far and another strength lies in the halfback trio of Darren Mullahy, Diarmuid Blake and Alan Dempsey. Conor Mortimer is bound to show well again in the forwards, so it's not going to be easy for the Meath students.
In their two-point win over St Mel's in the Leinster final, Shane McKeigue was the standout at centre forward. Ivan McCormack was the main scorer there but if St Patrick's are to stay on track for their first All-Ireland title, everything must click.
All-Ireland SH Semi-Final
St Kieran's, Kilkenny v Gort CC
(Referee: J McDonnell, Tipperary) Nenagh, 3.30 - Almost all the St Kieran's forwards proved capable of scoring against Dublin Colleges in the Leinster decider and that's going to be the main problem for Gort. Tipperary minor Eoin Kelly is lethal when he gets going while captain Tim Murphy is also well able to direct affairs in defence.
For Gort, defending their Connacht title over St Raphael's proved relatively straight forward but it's going to be quite the opposite here. David Greene and Barry Coen lead an equally strong full forward line but that is unlikely to prevent St Kieran's reaching the All-Ireland final.
