Gardaí seek witnesses to hit and run incident in Carlow

Further appeal over June 17th collision in which two people were hurt in Urglin

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses following a hit and run collision in Carlow town in June.

Two pedestrians were injured when they were hit by a vehicle while walking in the Urglin area of Carlow Town at around 8.20pm on June 17th.

The vehicle involved in the incident has been described as a dark coloured 4x4. The vehicle was coming from the Benekerry direction and the collision happed near Urglin church.

A 59-year-old man was seriously injured and the second pedestrian, a 23-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries. The car left the scene in the direction of Rays Cross.
