The Department of Foreign Affairs is providing consular assistance to the woman’s family.

Earlier indications that the mother of two had been killed following a bus crash in the north African country proved to be inaccurate.

In this separate incident, at least 10 people were killed when a bus caught fire after colliding with a truck about 40km outside Agadir in the south of the country.
