A forum to allow young Irish people have an input into international negotiations on climate change is to be established by An Taisce.
The environmental watchdog has said it will set up the National Youth Forum for Engagement with Climate Change if it can raise at least €14,500 through crowd funding.
It wants to establish the platform ahead of the latest international climate change summit in December this year so that young Irish people can have a voice at the event. More than 190 countries will take part in COP21 in Paris.
