Two men were seriously injured after a row broke out in a pub in Co Tipperary on Sunday night.

Gardaí are appealing for information on the incident which happened at New Inn. Gardaí from Cahir Garda Station were called to the scene at about 11pm.

Two men aged in their 20s and 30s received head injuries and were taken to South Tipperary Hospital.

No arrests have been made but gardaí are carrying out interviews and asking for witnesses to contact the incident room at Cahir Garda Station on 052 7445630.
