Gardaí have seized 14 suspected stolen vehicles including 12 Ford transit vans, a Ford camper van and a caravan as part of a search operation in the areas of Granard and Longford.
The multi-agency operation was carried out on Monday afternoon as part of an intelligence led operation targeting the theft of vehicles in the Granard and Longford Districts. A large amount of documentary evidence was also seized.
Officers from the Department of Social Welfare and Officers from Revenue Custom and Excise took part in the operation.
No arrests were made and investigations are ongoing.
