Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to come forward following the death of a pedestrian who was struck by a car in Kilbarrack, Dublin.

Anthony Burke (75) was hit by a car at 7pm on Monday on Greendale Road in Kilbarrack, Dublin 5. Mr Burke was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he died on Tuesday.

The scene of the incident has been technically examined and gardaí have interviewed the driver of the car.
