Gardaí have appealed for witnesses to come forward following the death of a pedestrian who was struck by a car in Kilbarrack, Dublin.
Anthony Burke (75) was hit by a car at 7pm on Monday on Greendale Road in Kilbarrack, Dublin 5. Mr Burke was taken to Beaumont Hospital where he died on Tuesday.
The scene of the incident has been technically examined and gardaí have interviewed the driver of the car.
Gardaí are calling for witnesses of the collision or anyone who was in the Greendale Road area on Monday evening to contact Raheny Garda Station on 01 666 4300.
