An Garda Síochána is making enquiries following a report of an alleged sexual assault at a Dublin city centre nightclub last week.

The incident is alleged to have taken place in the early hours of Wednesday, November 17th.

A Garda spokeswoman confirmed gardaí were aware of an alleged assault “that occurred in a business premises” in Dublin city centre.

Enquiries into the alleged incident were “ongoing at this time,” the spokeswoman said.

It is understood the Garda enquiry into the alleged sexual assault is in the very early stages. The owner of the nightclub declined to comment on the matter when contacted by The Irish Times.
