A popular fixture in the Dublin art calendar, the annual exhibition of the Water Colour Society of Ireland, its 159th, opens next week at the Concourse Arts Centre in the Dún Laoghaire County Hall.

The selling exhibition features almost 300 paintings, prints and drawings by some of Ireland's leading watercolour artists including Jean Bardon, John Coyle,
Joe Dunne, Margaret Kent, Brett McEntagart, Tom Ryan and the society's president, Pauline Doyle. Prices are mainly in the €350 to €850 range.
