REV UP FOR WEST WATERFORD
The West Waterford Festival of Food (April 15th-17th) is a not-to-be-missed gastronomic feast, with Dublin-born London restaurateur and chef Robin Gill doing a pop-up dinner in the Tannery; Graham Neville (Restaurant FortyOne), Mickael Viljanen (The Greenhouse) and Kieran Glennon (Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud) teaming up to cook a very special Sunday lunch; and maître d' Declan Maxwell hosting afternoon tea at Lismore Castle.
Dungarvan chef Louise Clark of Nude Food will be addressing a global concern by turning food that might otherwise be discarded into a fabulous feast, accompanied by lively debate from chef Michael Quinn and food writers Joe McNamee and Dee Laffan. There will be a new Health Hub this year, and cookery demos will cover Mexican food (Javier Garduno and Lily Ramirez Foran) and Asian street food (Kwanghi Chan). westwaterfordfestivaloffood.com
