The first performance of the Mary Poppins musical at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre in Dublin has been cancelled due to delays with the set caused by Storm Darragh.
An additional performance for Sunday, December 15th at 6.30pm has been scheduled to accommodate the affected audience.
For those unable to attend the rescheduled date, a full refund or exchange, subject to availability, will be offered. The theatre said, as it stands, all future performances of the show will go ahead as scheduled.
In a statement this afternoon, the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre said due to the impact of Storm Darragh, “there have been repeated delays with large parts of the Mary Poppins set being shipped from the UK to Dublin”.
