Here’s a nice idea. Surviving members of the Monty Python team plan to produce a 3D animated film based on the autobiography of their late colleague Graham Chapman.
The film will feature work from 15 different animation houses, each contributing its own stylistically distinct sequence.
John Cleese will take time off from embarrassing TV commercials to play himself. Michael Palin will play Chapman’s father. Terry Jones, creator of many squeaky voiced harridans for Python, is to inhabit Graham’s mother. But there is no word yet as to whether Terry Gilliam is to provide any animations. It would seem crazy if that were not the case.
