Gardaí in Co Wicklow are investigating the circumstances surrounding the death of a man following an incident in Bray on Sunday.
The man, aged in his 30s, was found with serious injuries in a playground on the Boghall Road in Bray at around 6pm. It is understood that he may have been stabbed.
In a statement, An Garda Síochána said members responded to reports of a man being found “unresponsive” and with “serious injuries”.
He was treated at the scene by emergency services personnel but was pronounced deceased a short time later.

Gardaí sealed off the area where the man was found in order to preserve it for forensic and technical examinations. The force said the Office of the State Pathologist and local coroner had been notified.
No arrests have yet been made in connection with the incident and gardaí appealed to anyone with information to contact the incident room at Bray Garda station on (01) 6665300 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
