Frankie Sheahan’s Pendulum records pretax profits of over €100,000

Balance sheet remains strong with accumulated profits of €2.44m at end of 2020

Former Ireland rugby international Frankie Sheahan’s Pendulum events management business recorded pretax profits of €102,779 last year.

New accounts lodged by Pendulum Training and Events Ltd, the pretax profits note that the profits covers a 16-month period from the end of August 2019 to the end of 2020. That was 19.6 per cent down on the €127,895 recorded in the previous 12 months.

The accounts describe the company’s main activity as providing educational and training events of a vocational nature to individuals and their respective business.

The company had accumulated profits of €2.44 million at the end of last year. Directors’ pay fell to €92,589 from €117,800 previously, including pension contributions of €52,000.

Mr Sheahan set up Pendulum with his wife, Norma, in 2013 some four years after retiring from playing for Munster and Ireland.

US author and motivational speaker Tony Robbins last month helped launch Mr Sheahan's virtual event Pendulum 360. Among those to appear at Pendulum events over the years have been Boris Johnson, Deepak Chopra, Joe Schmidt, Paul O'Connell and Richard Branson.
