Two people died in a shooting at a Mercedes-Benz factory in southwestern Germany on Thursday, the company said.
Police had previously said that one person died and another was seriously injured.
Earlier on Thursday, the Bild newspaper reported one person had been killed, citing a police spokesperson.
One person was arrested and rescue workers were on the scene at the Factory 56 in Sindelfingen, which assembles the S-class model, Bild said.

“One person was killed, one seriously injured. The background is still unclear,” the police spokesperson was quoted by the newspaper as saying.
Police on Twitter confirmed that there was an operation ongoing at the plant but did not mention any casualties. They were not immediately available for further comment. – Reuters
