Dublin’s All-Ireland football quarter-final will be broadcast exclusively live on Sky Sports as part of a Croke Park double-header, the GAA confirmed this afternoon.
Both matches have been set for Saturday, August 9th as the first of the hurling semi-finals will be played at Croke Park on Sunday, August 10th.
The Leinster champions will play the winners of one of the two 4B qualifiers - they cannot face Meath who they demolished in the Leinster final yesterday but could still meet Kildare, Monaghan or Armagh - at 6pm on August 9th.
Donegal, who regained their Ulster crown after gaining revenge against Monaghan in Clones, will feature in the earlier game at Croke Park. They will face either Armagh, Meath or Kildare with that match also being screened only on Sky Sports.
The Round 4B qualifiers on Saturday week have also been fixed for a Croke Park double-header with Meath, so poor against Dublin yesterday, needing to pick themselves up for their meeting with a resurgent Armagh in the first match.
Monaghan will take on Kildare in the second match of the day on August 2nd.
