SATURDAY
DIVISION ONE
Cork v Donega l, Páirc Uí Rinn, 5pm– Successive trips to Down and Tyrone seemed an unlikely route for Cork to turn their league campaign around. Over the past five years across two divisions, they'd only managed two away wins in eight against Ulster teams. Now they've put together two in seven days, they'll welcome Donegal in decent fettle. Aidan Walsh is coming into his own - maybe the lack of a Sigerson campaign did him no harm.

They meet a side that hasn't seemed too pushed in the league and who will be happy when they put any relegation thoughts to bed. They will likely have to wait another game or two yet though.

Mayo v Kildare , McHale Park, 7pm – Kildare were never as good as their 100 per cent record suggested but they're not as bad as last Sunday's 13-pointer at Dublin's hands either. They will have under-21 star Niall Kelly back on board but the thing to look out for is the role Kieran McGeeney gives Mikey Conway.

Playing him at centre back is an experiment that might not have much more lab time devoted to it.

A trip to Castlebar is no tonic, even allowing for Mayo's slightly haphazard form.

Dublin v Tyrone , Croke Park, 7pm – If Tyrone's motivation for their win over Donegal a fortnight ago came from a need to quash an inferiority complex before it grew, then their desire here should be no less acute. Dublin have beaten Mickey Harte's side the last three times in a row in league and championship.

Tyrone have held back a couple of their under-21s – most significantly Ronan O’Neill – for Wednesday's Ulster quarter-final against Donegal, whereas Jim Gavin has named an unchanged side for the first time all year. We can expect Tyrone to apply the brakes to Dublin’s runaway scoring but a win is probably too much to ask.

Kerry v Down ,Tralee, 7pm – A relegation four-pointer and no mistake. All the hooha is about how badly Kerry need a win but Down aren't exactly luxuriating in wiggle room either. After this they have Dublin away and Kildare at home to save themselves. No picnic.

Reports about Colm Cooper’s return before the end of the league are likely wide of the mark. Kerry’s attacking woes have as much to do with missing Paul Galvin, Bryan Sheehan and Declan O’Sullivan anyway.

No other team in the country would be 1/2 favourites to win a game when they are the lowest scorers in the division by 20 points. Hard to see them justifying such skinny odds.

DIVISION TWO

Derry v Longford, Celtic Park, 7pm – Derry have been in reasonably free-wheeling form so they came away from last week's draw with Armagh slightly annoyed w. Slow starts in either half left them chasing rather than controlling the game. They have every chance of redeeming themselves against Longford, who l have picked up a bad habit of losing close games.

Armagh v Louth , Athletic Grounds – It's not surprising Aidan O'Rourke has made Louth a more formidable proposition this year. The fact they are the fourth-highest scorers across the divisions, however, possibly is. Top scorer Shane Lennon is available despite his sending off last week against Wexford, which was for two yellow cards. Armagh, by contrast, could struggle for scores without Jamie Clarke, . An away win in prospect.

Laois v Galway, Portlaoise
After a stirring start to the league, Laois have allowed carelessness to creep in and coughed up a soft defeat to Westmeath last time out. They can'tafford another one here and in changing four of his back six, Justin McNulty has given a heavy hint as to where he thinks their problems lie. Galway have tiptoed along quite nicely,and if they Win this and promotion is a definite possibility for Galway.

DIVISION THREE
Monaghan v Wicklow , Clones, 2pm – Top against bottom and no particular reason to think that won't be reflected in the result..

Meath v Sligo , Navan, 5pm – Meath desperately needed the bone Roscommon threw them last weekend and after a shocking start they find themselves within touching distance of being in reasonable order again. Sligo are in relegation trouble if they lose this.

Antrim v Roscommon , Casement Park, 2.30 – Roscommon have been in freefall over the past month,and this is hardly the ideal fixture with which toarrest that as Antrim have been getting their act together, with Tomás McCann finding his feet again. Home win.

Cavan v Fermanagh , Breffni Park, 7pm – Eugene Keating's last-minute goal bought Cavan a draw they probably didn't deserve against Sligo last weekend. There won't be much to choose between the sides here either, with Fermanagh improving under Peter Canavan.Fermanagh could take it.

DIVISION FOUR
Limerick v Tipperary , Gaelic Grounds, 3pm – It looked from the start neither of these belonged in Division Four but only Limerick have lived up to their billing. You'd fancy them to continue to do so.

Leitrim v Waterford , Carrick-On-Shannon, 2pm – Leitrim have been better than one win from four suggests and can take a Waterford side that lost in London last weekend.

Offaly v Carlow , Tullamore, 2pm – Two sides with almost identical records, Offaly get the nod after digging out a gutsy win in Carrick-On-Shannon last time out.
