Chemistry exhibition:Distil Life
In the distant past, the line between art and science was much more blurred than it is today. Artistans and alchemists worked alongside each other in the production of perfumes, pigments, potter’s glazes and the alchemical attempts to produce gold.
The Distil Lifeevent is an attempt to rekindle that relationship, gathering artists and chemists together to collaborate. This event runs outside of the main Science Week, from November 26th until November 30th at the Arts Millennium Building, NUI Galway, 091-52411, galwayscience.ie.
