Recommendations to reduce cancer risks

Eating more food of plant origin and less of animal origin can bring significant reduction in incidence of cancer. The World Cancer Research Fund study also recommends:

a diet rich in fruit and vegetables. It should prevent 20 per cent of all cancers.

limiting alcohol consumption to one or two drinks a day. It should prevent 20 per cent of all cancers of the mouth/throat, colon and breast.

changing diets overall based on its findings/recommendations. It could effect a 75 per cent reduction in colon cancer, a 50 per cent reduction in breast cancer and a 33 per cent reduction in lung cancer.
