Gardaí investigating the circumstances behind the death of a man in Dublin city centre last night have ruled out foul play.

Gardaí investigating the circumstances behind the death of a man in Dublin city centre last night have ruled out foul play.

The man in his mid to late 20s was found lying on a street in the St Michael' Hill area of the capital. He was taken to the Mater Hospital where he died.

Assistant State Pathologist was due to carry out a post mortem later today. The scene has been sealed for forensic examination.

The dead man has not yet been identified.
