A Sinn Féin constituency office in Derry was targeted overnight by arsonists.

The incident happened on Eastway Street where police say a rear window was broken and flammable liquid poured in shortly before midnight.

MLA Raymond McCartney said it would not deter the party from representing people in the area.

“This must be condemned as an attempt to attack the democratic process,” said Mr McCartney. “It will not stop us working or the people of Derry.”
