ELAINE CROWLEY
Best holiday?A ski trip to Mayrhofen in Austria. There was a big group going but I only knew my sister. They all turned out to be so much craic. The group went back every year until the recession hit.
Worst holiday?I went to New York last year for Thanksgiving. I hadn't realised that everything was closed so the only thing to do was the Black Friday sales. My sisters love shopping but it's my least favourite thing to do in the universe. We were in bed every night at 9pm to get up early to shop.
Dream holiday?I'd love to go to South America – Argentina and Brazil.
Favourite place in Ireland?I'm from Cork and there's some beautiful areas around there. But Westport, Co Mayo is a great place for a weekend.
Holiday reading?Books about serial killers and dragons. I'm on the last of the Game of Thrones series – the previous book kept me up until 4am. When I go on a switch-off Thailand type holiday I read something like The Secret or The Celestine Prophecy.
Where to next?I'd like to go to Newfoundland to visit a friend, or skiing in January. I also want to go back to Thailand.
