Price cuts, a receiver’s sale and a low guide price on a three-bed in Glenageary should entice househunters to viewings across Dublin this weekend

In a very conveninent location for UCD, the five-bedroom house was previously for sale through Sherry FitzGerald, and had been originally priced at €1.5 million. AN apartment block in Dalkey being sold on the instructions of receivers has large two-bedroom homes for sale from €275,000- €315,000 a piece. On the corner of Castlepark Road and Barnhill Road, Castlepark Court has eight apartments for sale, as well as the penthouse which agents H T Meagher O’Reilly say will be priced at “around €500,000”. The block was completed three years ago but went straight to rental, with units making €1,200 to €1,450 a month, according to selling agent Rena O’Kelly.
