Aisling's Picks: Limited edition beauty treats, shimmering shadow and the best foundation around

Plus handbag essentials and a perfect primer

Bagsy from €9.59 - Debenhams

The Bagsy range was created to provide cute, compact cosmetics that you can throw into your handbag for touch ups on the go.

I’ve been trying out a few bits and pieces and I particularly like the Beautiful Eyes Color pencils and the Chubby Sticks which are smooth and easy to apply.

The range strikes me as a tad overpriced however for travel sized products.

Nars Glossybox - £40, glossybox.co.uk

Many beauty junkies will know all about Glossybox and the box of cosmetic treats delivered to their door each month. This November the box is filled exclusively with Nars products. Five well chosen Nars minis include the bestselling Orgasm blush and multiple. Get online quickly if you want it - it’s a limited edition.

Burberry Eye Colour Cream in Festive Gold - €31

With the excitement of many parties on the horizon my inner glittery self finds itself longing to spring into action. But I’ll begin with this soft and oh so luxe shade. It’s a polite, lady like shimmer that’s not loud but is subtle and flattering. It can be built up and used wet for a more intense effect.

Emma Hardie Protect & Prime SPF30 - £45,

Another great skincare product from Emma Hardie. This non greasy primer has a broad spectrum SPF and light reflecting particles. It is moisturising and full of skin friendly natural ingredients.

Although at this time of the year we’re not particularly in need of high SPF, if you’re not a foundation wearer this primer will also help to shield your skin from the worst of the elements.

Boots No7 Advent Calendar 25 Days of Beauty - €49.50

The child in me loves nothing better than an Advent Calendar filled with goodies and the Boots offering this year has outdone itself. It is packed with six full sized products and lots of minis which include cosmetics, skincare, nail and bath treats. It’s worth a whopping €193, so if you want one don’t hang about, they usually sell out like hot cakes.

Aisling Loves... Charlotte Tilbury Magic Foundation - €40

All too often full coverage foundation looks heavy and flat. This liquid provides a finish that doesn’t cake, settle into pores or look heavy. A combination of hyaluronic acid, vitamin C and silicones means that it feels moisturising and looks good all day.

It’s available in a wide range of shades and if you’re on the lookout for a new foundation I highly recommend testing this one out.
