This week two Spanish wines from Lidl. Both are priced at less than €10 and both offer great value for money. Many of us are familiar with Albariño, a grape variety that thrives in Galicia in Spain and northern Portugal. The Salneval has come down in price, making it a bargain. The Toro certainly falls into that category, too a rich, warming wine at a great price. Toro is a region in northern Spain, known for producing big powerful red wines.

Medium to full-bodied with concentrated dark fruits and a rounded finish. Perfect with a steak or something equally powerful.
