We had guitar slinger Slash in town a couple of months ago and, frankly, he wasn't much cop. Now it's the turn of his former taskmaster, Axl Rose, who ostensibly is touring the band's most recent album, Chinese Democracy, but who will obviously be churning out the songs most people really want to hear: Paradise City, Sweet Child O' Mine, Welcome to the Jungle, November Rain, and so on. Despite the familiarity of the tunes, and the fact that Rose virtually derailed the band due to the length of time it took to record and release Chinese Democracy,Guns N'Roses remain a handy live proposition – even if most of us can't name a band member other than the lead singer.
