Who wants to be in Drake’s gang? The Toronto rapper is hip-hop’s ruler-in-chief so anything with his name on it brings a hell of a lot of attention.

Atlanta's Future has been coming up the ranks with albums such as the excellent Pluto, 56 Nights and DS2, but a couple of days in the studio with Drizzy to knock out What A Time To Be Alive brings a supersized spurt in profile.

It’s an interesting meeting of minds, with Drake’s snarky, melancholic tones clipping at the heels of Future’s hypnotic, oddball vocals.

It’s the latter’s record, with Future dominating in terms of quantity and often the quality of the tracks as well.

But the real winner is producer Metro Bloomin, who provides clear and edgy sounds on Jersey, Jumpman and album standout Diamonds Dancing where both rapping parties sound like they've truly found their groove.
