Glasgow's Mogwai (named after the furry critters from the movie Gremlins) have been post-rocking it for over 10 years now, fusing abrasive, guitar-led, instrumental crescendos with contemplative, voice-based songs and (occasionally) atmospheric soundtrack work (notably 2006's documentary Zidane, about the French soccer player).

This is all good news, but the great news is that the band are playing three consecutive nights here – enough time for us to love them without feeling they’re overstaying their welcome.

As if this wasn’t enough, support acts include Desalvo and Remember Remember, and Mogwai’s Stuart Braithwaite and Barry Burns will be guest DJs at the venue’s post-gig slam down, No Disko (Friday only).
