Gardaí are appealing for witnesses after a cyclist died in an incident involving a lorry in Castleknock, Dublin, on Thursday afternoon.
The man, aged in his 50s, was fatally injured in a collision at the junction of College Road and Castleknock Village at about 4.30pm.
“The body of the man has been removed from the scene to the Mortuary in Connolly Hospital Blanchardstown and arrangements will now be made for a postmortem examination to take place,” a Garda spokesman said.
“Castleknock Village is currently closed as a technical examination by Garda Forensic Collision Investigators is taking place. Local diversions are in place.”
