Pat Smullen could face up to three weeks out of action with a fractured collar bone after falling from his winning mount Goldman yards after the winning post at the Curragh on Saturday. Dr Walter Halley, the Turf Club medical officer, confirmed there was a fracture yesterday and added: "It's very unfortunate for Pat, winning like he did and then having the horse shy from a shadow."
