There are plenty of Bluetooth speakers on the market but none has the good looks and deep baritone bass of the appropriately named Caruso, after the famous opera tenor, by Verona-based designer Paolo Capello. The music cabinet for the Italian company Miniforms (miniforms.com) has a trumpet-shaped speaker that references the gramophone but takes music to the digital-age version. Even when not in use it looks spectacular and comes in a selection of cool colour combinations including the oak and 24k gold, pictured, which costs about €2,979, ex delivery, from UK-based Go Modern (gomodern.co.uk).
