Manchester United have been drawn to play Liverpool in the last 16 of the Europa League.

Louis van Gaal's side beat FC Midtjylland 5-1 at Old Trafford on Thursday night to progress, while Liverpool beat FC Augsburg 1-0 at Anfield.

It will be the first time England’s two most successful clubs will have played each other in Europe.

Elsewhere Tottenham Hotspur have been handed the tricky task of a tie against Borussia Dortmund, while Gary Neville's Valencia face Athletic Bilbao.
