There are no services currently running on the Luas Green line in Dublin due to a power fault.

Services on the Luas Red line have resumed after earlier being suspended between Smithfield and Connolly stops.

Trams were only running between Smithfield and Tallaght or Saggart.

Luas tickets are valid on Dublin Bus during the service disruption.

Luas operator Transdev apologised for any inconvenience caused.

“There are multiple Luas technicians on site who are working their way systematically along the Green Line to identify the source of the fault. Customers will be kept informed in real time via the Luas website, social media channels, and media traffic and travel updates. We apologise for the inconvenience caused,” it said.

“Luas commit to providing Luas customers, the public and the media today with an explanation of the cause of the current power outage. This information will be shared once power has been fully restored and our maintenance teams have completed their analysis.”
